About the Journal

Inside Dental Assisting’s mission is to promote excellence in the field of dental assisting through building community, furthering education, and facilitating teamwork. Each issue will feature FREE continuing education accredited by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Inside Dental Assisting will be published quarterly in April, June, September, and November/December each year. There also will be a strong online presence with fresh content updated monthly, as well as additional continuing education opportunities throughout the year.

The journal will focus on state-of-the-art procedures, practical clinical applications, applied technology, health and safety, and laboratory communication. All articles submitted are peer-reviewed by the editor-in-chief and members of the editorial board. This process ensures the highest level of editorial integrity, providing dental assistants with a publication that offers accurate, topical, and practical information.
